Chimney Siding Replaced

So we removed the siding.  A water barrier had never been installed behind the siding. We installed a heavy barrier and put on new Hardiplank siding. We then sealed all the joints with a high grade caulking sealant. It was ready for the painter to paint when we left it. Homeowner and neighbor commented on how nice it looked now even before the painting.

Beware of Handyman Work

These are some of the many things we find that the “handyman” who “knows about roofing and how to do it” have left behind. Beware!!  Most of these cost you much more  $$  in the long run after you have had to pay them  $   (usually to do it wrong) and then for all the damage it causes $$   Then to have a real company take it apart  $  and do it right the second time $.  Wow – did we really save?

So be money $mart and hire a licensed company from the start    : -)

Roof Repair to Flat area

This roof was a mess and leaking when we arrived on site.We had to first pressure wash it to clean it up for preparation of the new roofing. After it was all cleaned up , we could then begin the installation of the new roofing materials.

This tile roof had a leak in it. So we removed the tiles , underlayment and bad wood.We installed new plywood new peel and stick underlayment and tiles.The owner was very happy and hasn’t had any trouble with this area since the repair was done over 1 year ago!

The pictures above are some of the broken tiles that had to be replaced.Tiles can get broken from a number of reasons. Low tree branches or limbs that hit against a tile roof . Falling branches or limbs. Foot traffic from walking on the tiles and from golf balls when the pros play. Tiles that have unseen cracks from initial installation that become visible in time.
